What an Andorra bike park weekend looks like
The usual plan is to arrive on Friday, ride on Saturday and Sunday and head home on Sunday afternoon. That is why the price you see at each hotel is for 2 hotel nights with a 2-day Bike Pass for 2 adults, which is also the one used in the site's deals.
- Hotel: you choose room, rate and board on each hotel's page.
- Bike Pass: for the bike park you choose, from 1 to 5 days. Multi-day passes are for consecutive days.
- Price per person: already includes hotel and Bike Pass, with no separate sums.
Vallnord Pal Arinsal or Grandvalira: which to choose
Vallnord Pal Arinsal is the gravity bike park: 30 trails and over 60 km between Pic del Cubil and La Massana, with downhill, enduro, cross-country, beginner areas and some trails approved for the World Cup. You ride up on 1 gondola and 3 chairlifts.
Grandvalira E-Bike is for electric bikes only: 111 km of colour-coded waymarked routes between Encamp, Canillo and Soldeu. The Bike Pass includes 4 rides a day on the Encamp (Funicamp), Canillo and Soldeu gondolas, and a full-face helmet is mandatory.
Both on the same trip
From any hotel you can add the other bike park's Bike Pass when booking. La Massana and Soldeu are about 21 km apart (26 minutes by car), so you can combine them on a stay of several days.
Getting there
The nearest airports are Andorra–La Seu d'Urgell (27 km), Toulouse-Blagnac (195 km) and Barcelona-El Prat (200 km). Without a car, there are scheduled buses to Andorra: AndBus (from Toulouse and Barcelona, stopping at El Prat), Andorra DirectBus (Barcelona Sants and El Prat), ALSA and HIFE.
