What the 2026 Bike Park Season in Andorra Will Look Like: More Trails, More Flow and More MTB

In short: Vallnord Bike Park (Pal Arinsal) opens its 2026 summer season on 20 June, coinciding with the ANDBike festival, with over 60 km and around 30 downhill, enduro, cross-country and e-bike trails. The UCI MTB World Cup returns in July, and Grandvalira E-Bike Park offers more than 100 km of marked e-bike routes between Encamp, Canillo and Soldeu.
After a record winter for visitors and snow, the Pal Arinsal and Grandvalira resorts are getting ready to welcome thousands of riders from all over Europe. With new dates, more events and an offer increasingly focused on mountain biking, Vallnord Bike Park (Pal Arinsal) and Grandvalira E-Bike Park open their doors again this summer.
For years Andorra has been establishing itself as one of Europe's go-to destinations for downhill, enduro and e-biking.
What began as a cult bike park for advanced riders has grown into a complete ecosystem where World Cup tracks, beginner areas, alpine routes and experiences for both experts and families all live side by side.
Vallnord Bike Park (Pal Arinsal) and Grandvalira E-Bike Park, once again the epicentre of European gravity riding
The star of the summer will once again be the Pal Arinsal Bike Park, considered one of the most important bike parks in southern Europe and a regular stop on the international downhill calendar.
Vallnord Bike Park opening in 2026
The official opening of the 2026 summer season is planned for 20 June, coinciding with the ANDBike festival. The park will open every day throughout the high season and will then keep opening at weekends in the autumn.

With more than 60 kilometres of trails and around 30 different tracks, Vallnord Bike Park (Pal Arinsal) has lines for practically every discipline: downhill, enduro, cross-country, e-bike and dedicated areas for technical progression.
The lifts are still one of its great strengths, letting you stack up vertical very efficiently all day long.
UCI MTB World Cup at Pal Arinsal
On top of that, the UCI MTB World Cup returns in July, once again making Andorra one of the most important venues on the international calendar. As happens every year, some upper areas of the bike park may be temporarily affected while the event is prepared and held (Cadena SER).
Grandvalira bets big on cycling and e-bikes
While Pal Arinsal keeps dominating the gravity scene, Grandvalira keeps expanding its offer of mountain routes, family experiences and e-biking.
In recent years, Grandvalira Resorts has built a network of more than 100 kilometres of marked e-bike routes connecting different sectors of the resort. The goal is clear: to turn Andorra into a global cycling destination that goes beyond pure downhill.
One of the most notable projects is Bike World, Pal Arinsal's new themed area for beginners and progression. It aims to attract both families and riders who want to improve their technique in a more accessible, controlled setting, with dedicated kids' areas, flow zones and trails for different levels.
Alpine routes and scenic e-MTB rides will also keep gaining ground, especially in sectors such as Soldeu, Canillo and Encamp, where the offer of marked trails and guided experiences grows every summer. We cover it in detail in our Grandvalira E-Bike Park guide.
Why summer 2026 is key for MTB tourism in Andorra
The growth of mountain biking in Andorra is no accident. The resorts have understood how to extend mountain tourism beyond winter by riding the global cycling boom, turning Vallnord Bike Park and Grandvalira E-Bike Park into a benchmark in southern Europe.
Bringing Pal Arinsal into Grandvalira Resorts has also made it possible to unify part of the offer and create more attractive products for international riders, with access to the summer lifts and connections between sectors. Each bike park still has its own pass, though: the Pal Arinsal Bike Park pass and the Grandvalira E-Bike Bike Pass. At our hotels in Andorra you can add the other park's pass as an optional extra to alternate between both during your stay.

Add to that a hotel offer that is very well adapted to cycling: bike-friendly hotels, workshops, premium bike rental, spas for recovery and services designed for riders, which make Andorra a very competitive destination compared with other major alpine hubs. In La Massana, for example, Hotel Màgic La Massana has bike storage, a bike wash area and a bike workshop, and Hotel Marco Polo has a bike storage room, a bike wash station and express laundry.
Andorra, the perfect destination for your 2026 bike park holiday
Everything suggests that summer 2026 will be one of the strongest ever for mountain biking in Andorra. Between the opening of Vallnord Bike Park (Pal Arinsal), the expansion of the Grandvalira routes and the steady growth of MTB tourism, the country keeps positioning itself as a must for any mountain bike lover.
Whether you are after technical World Cup descents, endless flow trails, alpine e-bike routes or a complete MTB-focused holiday, Andorra shows once again why it is one of the most powerful destinations in Europe to enjoy mountain biking to the fullest.
At BikePark Holidays we organise your trip to Vallnord and Grandvalira E-Bike Park: a hotel in La Massana, next to the Pal Arinsal gondola, or in Soldeu, right by the Grandvalira slopes, with each park's pass. See the Vallnord Pal-Arinsal and Grandvalira E-Bike Park packages, the best dates in our offers or, if you want something tailor-made, get in touch.
And if you would rather have a bike park weekend in Spain, there is the Manzaneda Bike Park package (Ourense, Galicia): a mountain apartment next to the bike park and a 2-day pass (full 7-person apartment, 1 night in low season).
